| Staff retreat day at The Harby Centre |
After a flurry of emails and tidying up, I went to the staff retreat day at Harby Centre. We had a quiet morning and then went to the Dove Cottage tea room. I drove but the others walked. It was a pleasant place, linked to a hospice which is church run. All proceeds go to the hospice. They are very nice people and the atmosphere is very peaceful. We met Julie Fowler and her parents plus Charlotte.
I returned home and prepared Alpha and started on my Sunday service.
In the evening we played badminton. We had a two hour slot and we were quite stiff afterwards. However it was good to get some exercise after a long weekend of ministry.
