Today was a lazy day. We woke late and relaxed until lunch. The only church in the village has a service at 10 am but last time I tried it (Christmas Eve) no one turned up, not even the preacher.
In the afternoon we all went for a walk. It provided Margaret and myself with the lost art of pushing the pram. We went in the direction of the Swiss border. The weather was cold but dry.
As the day wore on we looked at the photos Andrew has taken of Becky and baby. He is a real artist and they easily compete with magazine portrait shots.
Towards tea time the snow started to fall and by bedtime there was a gentle covering. No doubt tomorrow will provide a different scene from today. Matthew was so well behaved. He cries very little and sleeps a lot. He lies on the sofa as we eat and it's easy to forget he is there.
The photos on this page are my own work, Matthew provided the wonderful expressions - a good team eh?
Well it's bed time and the snow is incessant. Looks like we're in for a covering by morning.
